Legacy Elite Events are set to revamp the whole elite event scene in the UK and Europe. Our aim, to make top level competition more exciting and more accessible to elite athletes than ever before, bringing Legacy Elite races to the forefront of European Surf Life Saving competition.

Our Race Director Nick Thorn is a 3x European Iron Man Champion, a 13x British National SLS Board Race Champion, an 11x British National SLS Surf Race champion and an 8x British National SLS Ironman Champion. Having competed at a huge range of events across the world over the past 20 years, he now brings this vast event and race experience into our very own Legacy Elite Events.

For 2013 Legacy Elite Events will be running an invite only system, with limited places available for each Elite Event. As you read this we are implementing our 2-3 year program making the Legacy Elite Events Competition the pinnacle of the once popular European Iron Man/Women series.

The Legacy Elite Events will have limited elite competition places for 16 men and 16 women, with the new addition of an Elite U19 race for 10 invitees only.

Our ‘Gold Coast Legacy Elite Event’ will also be the first of its kind. It will be in an eliminator format, the first stop of the European Ocean Man/Women event with over 24 invitee competitors.

Legacy Elite Events will bring you the most exciting Surf Life Saving competition from the best athletes. Get ready for pure adrenaline, speed and endurance. Get ready for Legacy Elite.
